IWK Auxiliary's Programs & Projects

“At the heart of the IWK Auxiliary is a group of dedicated volunteers who give their energy and expertise in a wide variety of roles: volunteering in patient care areas, providing leadership on committees, working on Auxiliary projects and committees, or driving fundraising activities. The saying “something for everyone” certainly applies here.”

For 65 years, the IWK Auxiliary has made many valuable and innovative contributions to the IWK Health Centre, from the very small to the very large. The Auxiliary serves the IWK Health Centre in many ways, all of which could benefit from your personal support. Through our Annual Fall List Requests, the Auxiliary also provides financial and volunteer support each year to a variety of programs and departments within the Health Centre which are designed to meet specific patient comforts and needs. These programs have included financial support to the below noted programs.

• Support to IWK Research Department ($1,100,000 since 1963)
