School Mental Health Clinicians

In January 2013, two School Mental Health Clinicians began working directly in two families of schools in the Halifax Regional School Board. They are located in JL Ilsley High School and Dartmouth High. The clinicians provide individual and group therapy, mental health and addictions education for school staff and consultation services.

School Presentations

IWK Mental Health and Addictions Program also provide school presentations. We can work with you to arrange presentations related to school refusal; anxiety in children and adolescents or attention deficit and hyper activity disorder. Direct patient care is our clinical priority, but where possible we’ll help you meet your education needs.
